Are you going to be in Portland, OR this weekend? Come find me at the Stumptown Comics Fest! I’ll be at the Oregon Convention Center, Saturday the 27th, from 10am-6pm, and Sunday the 28th from noon-6pm. At the show I’ll have copies of the brand new Hic & Hoc anthology, Unknown Origins & Untimely Ends (edited by Yours Truly), all of my old minicomics (SPAZ! #1-5 + The Collyer Brothers), plus two BRAND NEW minicomics: The Unusual Death of Gregory Biggs and Unfortunate Mishaps in Aviation History. You can come find me and my kickass tablemate, Max Young, at table J03.
Come to the release party of the Hic & Hoc anthology tonight at Floating World Comics!

Another preview of the Hic & Hoc anthology, Unknown Origins & Untimely Ends — which is being released tomorrow at Floating World Comics! Mike Roy’s story begins right here in Portland, where the infamous D.B. Cooper boarded a plane before hijacking it, demanding a ransom, and then parachuting away with the money, never to be seen again.
This is happening tomorrow! You can RSVP at our Facebook event page right here.
The books have come back from the printer and I they look amazing! Floating World Comics here in Portland has been gracious enough to allow us to have our release party in their shop on the Wednesday before the Stumptown Comics Fest. A few of the artists, including Julia Gfrörer, Sam Alden, Graham Kahler, and myself, will be in attendance to chat about the anthology and our work, as well as sign copies of the book that will be available for purchase. Hope to see you there!
